Judith Licata is a storyteller, educator, and lifelong believer in the power of love. Her work explores how love can heal, transform, and inspire. With a heart rooted in faith, she also has a deep appreciation for nature. She writes stories that speak to the child in all of us.

   The Mystery of Love was inspired by Judith’s childhood memories. She remembers summers spent in small towns where neighbors felt like family. Creeks became oceans, and a treehouse could feel like the most magical place in the world. She wanted to give today’s children a story that would slow them down and inspire wonder. Most of all, she wanted to remind them that love is the greatest adventure of all.

    When she isn’t writing, Judith enjoys tending to her garden and reading by the window. She also loves spending time with her family and her faithful golden retriever. Judith believes every child deserves a story that makes them feel seen, valued, and deeply loved.
